System Overview: The ice rake system is primarily installed in storage containers for flake ice. Since flake ice consists of dry, small pieces, it can easily pile up and block sensors. An automatic rake system is essential for maintaining continuous operation and ensuring level distribution.
Sensors continuously detect ice levels and command the rake structure to move horizontally, leveling the ice flakes. Once the ice is flat, the system enters a dormant state until more ice is detected. The container includes a cooling fan system to maintain temperatures between 5ºC and 8ºC, ensuring the flakes remain dry and free-flowing for easy transport.
